About Us
We are located in central Maine next to the North Maine Woods. Millinocket is the gateway to Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park. The area is known for it's papermaking (The old Great Northern Paper Company) and the logging industry the Pelletier family of (The American Loggers) on the Discovery Channel. Maine has the largest tract of forest in the lower 48 states which we use the lumber for projects made in our shop.
We were founded in 2008 by David Levesque. David brings many years of woodworking experience in building small and large woodworking projects for people in the Millinocket area. His passion for working has always been dear to his heart. While working as a maintenance worker in the papermaking field, he did woodworking in his shop to keep his skills sharp. After retirement from the papermaking and maintenance field, he worked as the Director of Plant Operations in a near by hospital. Upon retiring from the hospital he started a kitchen cabinet, gun cabinet, and kitchen cabinet refacing business, and has expanded the business to include small projects of all types. He is continually looking for ways to help people get a quality product at a fair price. Our customers comment about how his work is a great value. He has equipped his shop with the finest quality tools to ensure that you get quality right from the first time the wood hits his planer to the finished sprayed waterborne lacquer finish. His moto is We Want to be your Cabinet Maker.
David has been married for 42 years and has two grown children with seven Grandchildren. David's family values have given him the vision for great products at fair prices. He knows what it means to get your money's worth.
